A Naturopathic Doctor (ND) is a regulated healthcare professional who has completed a four-year, full-time medical program at an accredited naturopathic medical school. NDs are trained to diagnose, prevent, and treat both acute and chronic conditions, with a strong emphasis on education, prevention, and individualized care. They work to support the body’s natural healing processes and empower patients to take an active role in their health.
